levl is also building a cross-chain DEX aggregator initially focused on stablecoin and fiat liquidity.

About the Role
We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to help build Levl’s payments platform. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced early-stage startup in which you will be given tremendous ownership and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities
- Using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Terragrunt, to automate the provisioning of AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Building continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline our deployment processes and application delivery.
- Implementing effective health monitoring and alerting systems for the payments platform.
- Working closely with the CTO and contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance the reliability and performance of our platform, with a particular focus on ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and minimal downtime.
Requirements
- Proven experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure and a strong understanding of related concepts such as infrastructure as code, cloud (AWS) networking, IAM, load balancing.
- Proven experience of containerisation and orchestrating containerised applications using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Knowledge and experience of maintaining messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Prior experience in creating CI/CD pipelines for application delivery. GitHub Actions and/or GitOps experience advantageous.
- Experience of PostgreSQL database administration and best practices with respect to database scaling, migrations (Flyway experience advantageous), and performance optimisation.
- Knowledge and experience of provisioning and managing an observability stack, including monitoring dashboards, log sink configuration, distributed tracing. Experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo or Jaeger etc will be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
